We are one of the few companies worldwide offering a complete set of audio and video codecs, thanks to agreements with key patent holders like MPEG LA, Microsoft, VIA Licensing, Technicolor, and Dolby since 2005. -

2004
In late 2004, Fluendo was founded in Barcelona to provide a legal solution for multimedia file reproduction. Fluendo hires a team of developers from a Free Software project called GStreamer to provide the foundations of a professional framework to meet or exceed the performance of current applications in the market.
